Glacially Graceful
The glacier is in constant movement, and brings with it the layers of time. In the body of the dense ice of the glacier we see our history preserved, but also our future; the glacier is one of the world’s most sensitive indicators of climate change.
With the new gift collection Bre – the Norwegian word for glacier – the design studio Wik & Walsøe wishes to pay tribute to the stories our glaciers tell, and emphasize the beauty of their surface.
The Bre gift collection consists of three limited edition art pieces produced in fine bone china. Every piece is hand glazed individually by designer Linda Svedal Walsøe, thus making each one unique.
